BOC Group has entered into a contract data processing agreement with Google in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO.

Google Analytics is used for the purpose of creating web analytics for better and more interesting design of our website as well as personalized advertising.

Newsletter Processing

Newsletter Processing describes processing of data for the purpose of sending the BOC Group Newsletter to subscribers via email. This includes targeted information about industry, product and service news, regional or online events, new products or services (or versions thereof) as well as special offers or opportunities.

Receiving the newsletter is bound to active registration (specific opt-in). This opt-in can be withdrawn at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The data required to send targeted newsletters spans:

Processing job applications via the Career Portal

Processing job applications via the Career Portal includes all activities related to submitting a job application to the responsible BOC operation.

The data required to process job applications spans:

  • Country (Nationality)
  • Uploaded files: Curriculum Vitae, motivation letter, certificates, or others

System-generated:

In the course of forwarding these job applications, this data is processed by the BOC Career website and BOC Group’s internal Ticket-System

Duration of data processing:

  • If consent to keep data for future job opportunities has been given: 5 years
  • If no consent to keep data for future job opportunities has been given: up to seven month after end of application process (Approval or rejection)
